India performed incredibly well in the Paris Paralympics 2024 campaign, finishing among the top 20 countries in the world at the Paris Paralympic Games after defeating elite nations like Switzerland, Belgium, South Korea, Turkey, Argentina, and so on.
The traditional heavyweights of the Paralympic Games, such as China, Great Britain, the USA, Italy, and others, performed remarkably well, placing in the top 10 countries, in contrast to India. With Navdeep Singh‘s gold in the men’s javelin throw F41 division on Saturday, India won its 29th and last medal in the Paris Paralympics 2024 Games. In the men’s javelin F41 category, Navdeep Singh captured the gold medal for India for the first time. He also beat China’s Sun Pengxiang, the current world record holder.
At the Paris Paralympic 2024 on Saturday, the men’s javelin throw F41 final became controversial. In the end, Navdeep Singh of India gained from the pain of Iran’s Sadegh Beit Sayah. Gold was added to Navdeep’s silver when Sayah was eliminated for “improper conduct.”
