Duleep trophy 2024, is a domestic first class cricket competition played in india. It is the 61st edition of the cricket competition. It is taking place from 5 september 2024.This tournament is played by our teams A,B,C,&D.
The Duleep Trophy begins on Thursday, launching the 2024-25 Indian domestic cricket season. Four team captained by Shubman Gill, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer. This tournament essential for preparing India’s cricket team for their upcoming home test series and tour to Australia later this year.
The senior men’s Indian domestic cricket season of 2024 is scheduled to open on Thursday with the Duleep Trophy event. This is an important warm-up for India’s next home Test series and the much-awaited journey to Australia later in the year.
The entire system and structure of the Duleep Trophy 2024, will be significantly changed for this edition. Four teams :India A, India B, India C, and India D, will compete in the tournament. For these teams, Shubman Gill, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Shreyas Iyer will assume the captaincy duties, in that order.
The opening round of matches is scheduled to commence on September 5, Thursday, with games being held simultaneously in Bengaluru and Anantapur.
